Values
My path to the profession of a psychologist began with motherhood (I am a mother of three children) and problems in the family. At first, I began actively looking for literature on pedagogy and upbringing, this interest turned into a passion for child and family psychology. Having had problems in my relationship for many years and feeling constant anxiety about my children, I found myself in a long-term depression.
Motherhood pushed her to find a solution or at least to alleviate her condition.
At first it was religion, then I went to therapy (personal and group). I always read a lot, gradually switched to psychological literature. I entered Taras Shevchenko University at the Faculty of Psychology. All my searches, therapy and studies gave impetus to personal and spiritual growth, my life changed qualitatively, I overcame depression.
Studying at the Faculty of Psychology gave me an understanding of what exactly I want to do. I consider psychology my vocation.
While still studying, I started working in a private children's center as a psychologist-pedagogue. She also completed several courses on the CBT method. Completed practice as a clinical psychologist at the I. Pavlov Psychiatric Hospital (Kyiv). I started a private practice, conducted group trainings with teenagers, consulted families on raising children, worked with clients with anxiety-depressive disorders (paired with a psychiatrist).
With the beginning of the war, she moved abroad with her children due to the emotional vulnerability of her daughters, her son chose to return to Ukraine. It took several months to recover my psycho-emotional state, and then I started cooperating as a volunteer with several public organizations that provided support to refugees and immigrants (including cooperation with the Irish Red Cross, the Ukrainian Embassy in Ireland).
Currently, I provide psychological support to young people and women with children who moved to Ireland because of the war.
